  • Baseball to Compete at 4A State Finals May 24, 2013 With a win today over Durango (12-10), the Eagles look to keep their bats going into the finals. The game will be held Saturday at 10:00am at All-City Stadium. Admission prices are $5 for K-12 Students/Senior Citizens and $7 for General Admission.

Valor Sprinter Shines Bright on the Track

Valor's very own, MaryBeth Sant appeared on 9 News in a story about her recent accomplishments on the track. This fast young lady is setting records and making waves in the world of track and field and is looking to take her talent to the collegiate level. Sunday, February 3 she will make her decision live on 9 News. In the meantime, her recent time of 7.3 seconds in the 60 meter dash gives her the fastest time among all high school females, 5th highest in the nation and 7th highest in the world. Valor Head Football Coach Accepts Position at Houston Baptist University

Valor Christian High School Athletic Director Rod Sherman announced today that the school's head football coach, Brent Vieselmeyer has accepted the defensive coordinator position at Houston Baptist University, effective immediately. Houston Baptist will begin competing at the Division 1 level this fall. Under Vieselmeyer's leadership, the Valor Eagles earned a 55-11 record in varsity competition, winning four consecutive Colorado state football titles in Colorado in three separate classifications. On December 1, Valor won its first 5A Championship in a 9-0 victory over Cherokee Trail.

Former Soccer Players Receive Honors

Congratulations to former Eagle, Janine Beckie. Janine has been the proud recipient of numerous awards after her freshmen season at Texas Tech University. Most recently, Janine was honored as a part of the 2012 NSCAA High School All-American team, an elite honor reserved for high school standouts. For her performance at Texas Tech, Janine was also honored as a 2nd Team All-American in Division I Women's Soccer, as well as a member of the Top Drawer Soccer Freshmen Team of the Year. 

Another Red Raider and former Valor athlete, Jaelene Hinkle, is also the proud recipient of some distinguished honors. Jaelene was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Big 12 Top 20 team, along with 2nd team honors in the NSCAA All-Region Team.

Valor Golfer Earns Spot in US Junior Amateur Championships

Valor Golfer Ties for 2nd at International Invitational

Valor Senior Golfer, Wyndham Clark recently attended the Sage Valley Junior International Invitational in Augusta, Georgia. This tournament is considered the most prestigious junior international tournament. With his 2nd place finish, this now ranks Valor's Wyndham Clark in the top 5 in the world for junior amateur players.

Valor Student Receives "Most Promising Athlete" Award

Valor junior, Victoria Fernalld was recently honored at the Sportswomen of Colorado banquet with the "2012 Most Promising Athlete" for her efforts in equestrian competitions. Valor Sprinter Wins Big

Valor Sprinter, Mary Beth Sant won big at the Simplot Games on February 18, 2012. She put up a blazing time of 7.48 in the 60M dash, putting her atop the scoreboard and solidifying the victory. Congratulations to Mary Beth on a great accomplishment on a national stage!

First Bank Community All-Star Award Recipient

Due to Seth’s contribution in the athletic world, academically and within the community, he was honored as one of five recipients of this prestigious award.
