It is with great pleasure that Valor Christian Athletics announces Zach Ashland as the new Head Coach of the Valor Christian Boys Soccer program.

Coach Zach Ashland brings more than a decade of coaching, leadership, and program-building experience to the Valor Christian Boys Soccer program. Over the course of his career, he has coached across multiple age groups and competitive levels, including extensive work with Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, where he served as both Head Coach and Regional Manager while helping oversee competitive programming, staff development, operational planning, and player growth. He also served as an assistant coach and men's goalkeeper coach at Colorado Christian University, contributing to player development and team management at the collegiate level. In addition to his coaching background, Zach brings meaningful experience in operations, communication, and organizational leadership, with a track record of managing budgets, logistics, staffing, and long-range planning in both soccer and professional settings.

Coach Ashland is passionate not only about developing strong soccer players, but also about helping young men grow in Christ, character, and purpose. His own story is deeply connected to Valor through his own experience as an alum, and he sees athletics as a platform for witness, whole-person formation, and discipleship. He is seeking to build a program rooted in authentic relationships, clear accountability, weekly devotionals, and a culture that consistently points athletes back to Jesus. Zach desires to create an environment where players feel known, supported, and challenged, while learning to pursue excellence in a way that reflects worship, brotherhood, and a Christ-centered identity beyond the game.

We will be hosting a Meet & Greet with Coach Ashland on Thursday, May 7 at 5:30 pm in the Orchestra Room of the Valor Center. Please plan on attending this opportunity to meet Coach Ashland.
