It is with great pleasure that Valor Athletics announces Samantha Geiersbach as the head coach of the Valor Girls Lacrosse program. 

Coach Geiersbach won a national championship as a player with the University of North Carolina, earning the Most Valuable Player award in the NCAA Tournament. She went on to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the Tar Heels, played professionally for two different organizations, and internationally for Team Argentina. For the past five years, she has operated her own lacrosse training business, executing personalized assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and tailoring coaching strategies to meet the needs of her clients. Coach Geiersbach's experience in lacrosse and leadership development fill the needs of the head coach position perfectly.

Coach Geiersbach is also looking forward to connecting with each of her athletes about their faith. The athletic department is very excited to bring another positive role model to the department and we are looking forward to all the Lord has in store for this program under Coach Geiersbach's leadership.
