Valor Christian Cross Country made noise at the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede last weekend in its first race of the season! Lucas Santos was a stand out for the boys, running a lifetime PR of 15:35 for 7th overall against one of the state's fastest fields. On the girls' side, Gia Gerrard led Valor in 20:19, with strong support from Alice Santos and Noa Yang. 

Over half the team had a PR, with Merrick Eye running sub 17 minutes for the first time and Jonathan Brown posting a time 6 minutes faster than he ran at Cheyenne Mountain Stampede last year!    

The future is bright with six Valor freshmen stepping up in varsity races across both squads.
