Since November, the boys have been flat-out getting after it — in the weight room with Performance, on the field, in every competitive drill. The energy feels different this year. Younger? Yes. But experienced. And more importantly, locked in. There's a quiet edge to this group — a belief that we're not just hoping to win… we expect to.

Leadership has been steady and strong from returners Bridger Kindsfater, Trystan Chadwick, and Will Hayes. They've set the tone, on and off the field. And the impact isn't just coming from veterans — Rex Johnson and Carson Medina are already making noise and pushing the standard higher.

The biggest areas of focus this year are strength, unity, and competition.

We compete every day. Pressure situations. Consequences for losing. No backing down. And what's been impressive is how the boys have responded — not flinching, not folding — but getting sharper under pressure. Learning to execute when it matters.

Strengths heading into the season? We can pitch. We can defend. And we believe we can compete anyone in the state.
