Valor Christian High School Athletics

Prior to joining the faculty of Valor Christian, Miss Montoya served in a student teaching role in the school’s history department. As she began her professional journey as an educator, Miss Montoya felt called to Valor Christian because of its Christ-centered mission to cultivate students’ hearts and minds through education. As someone passionate about mentoring young people and fostering their growth, she is inspired by the opportunity to contribute to a community that integrates faith, character development, and academic excellence.

Miss Montoya also serves as the head coach for Valor Christian's girls gymnastics program. Miss Montoya is an accomplished gymnast and served on the coaching staff of Poudre School District in Fort Collins, CO. Coaching gymnastics has been especially rewarding, as it allows her to share her love for the sport while helping young athletes develop confidence, strength, and a sense of accomplishment.
