Valor Christian High School Athletics

Coach Keith Wahl has spent more than 20 years helping build strong athletic programs and cultures centered on purpose and character. As Director of Athletics at Valor Christian High School, he leads a department recognized among the best in Colorado and nationally.

His call to Valor began with a desire to help shape an educational community rooted in the life and teachings of Jesus. That sense of purpose guides him as he mentors coaches and student-athletes, encouraging growth both on the field and in their personal faith. Through initiatives that connect sport with spiritual formation, his leadership has influenced teams and coaches across campus and beyond.

Before returning to Valor in 2019, Coach Wahl served as Athletic Director at Briarwood Christian School and founded the baseball program at Mountain Vista High School, building it into a state contender. He has nearly 300 career wins, including a 2016 State Championship, and has been recognized with regional and state coaching awards. In 2023, he completed the FSI Certificate in Sports Culture & Leadership from Baylor University. He is also the author of the Well Coached series.

Keith and his wife, Alyson, have two children—one a Valor graduate (Class of ’25) and one currently a student (Class of ’26).
