As we enter the 2026 season, there is a palpable excitement surrounding our program. Coming off an incredible 2025 campaign that saw us crowned 5A State Champions, we are fully aware of the target now on our backs. Defending a title is often more challenging than chasing the first, but our team embraces that challenge and the standard that comes with it.
With 20 returners on a 28-player roster, we bring back experience, chemistry, and high-level talent across the field.
In the midfield, we return tremendous star power with seniors Leele Bigelow and Morgan Gunnersen, alongside juniors Gia Bigelow and Micki Tanella. Their versatility, pace, and leadership will once again be a major strength for us.
Offensively, we are excited to welcome back two key pieces in senior Julia Mangan and junior Olivia Laselle. Their ability to create opportunities and finish in critical moments gives our attack a strong foundation.
Defensively, we return four anchors of our unit in seniors Ellie Barhydt and goalkeeper Allie Moskowitz, along with junior Abby Brown and sophomore Brynn Hammill. Their communication, toughness, and composure set the tone on that end of the field.
We are also thrilled about the addition of our freshman class. This is an extremely talented group that brings competitiveness and edge to our program. We anticipate them making an immediate impact while continuing to develop within our system.
Over the fall and winter, we learned a great deal about ourselves, our resilience, our depth, and our commitment to one another. With a roster of 28, we are a tight-knit group that truly buys into each other and the culture of our program. Our focus this season is continuing to build depth, sharpen our skills, and grow together.
We have also committed to a more challenging schedule this year, including matchups against out-of-state programs such as Saint Ignatius, Sacred Heart, American Heritage, and IMG. These games will test us in new ways, and we are excited for the opportunity to compete at a high level, adjust, and continue evolving.
With strong leadership at the reins in Leele Bigelow, Morgan Gunnersen, and Ellie Barhydt, we are confident in the direction of this team. The standard has been set, the work has been put in, and we are ready for what lies ahead.
The 2026 season is here, and we cannot wait to get started.
