Valor Christian High School Athletics

Gordon begins his first season as a Junior Varsity assistant coach. A Denver native, Gordon’s love for hockey commenced at an early age. He played youth hockey on various travel teams wth the Arvada and Foothills Associations. He attended Dakota Ridge High School where he was a member of their Varsity Team from 2006-2009. 

Following high school, he enrolled at the University of Colorado at Denver where he received a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. While attending, he founded the CU-Denver club Ice Hockey Team - the first sports program in the history of the University. This paved the way for the development of additional sports at CU-Denver, which now has 15 successful athletic programs.

Since completing his degree, Gordon has held coaching positions with the Cherry Creek High School Junior Varsity and most recently, Chatfield High School’s varsity program. 

Gordon works for CRC Insurance as a member of their Environmental Wholesale Brokerage team. 

He and his wife, Aimee reside in Highlands Ranch with their son Josh and two dogs Packer and Pancake.
