Varsity Assistant Coach

Ian begins his fifth season with the Valor Christian Junior Varsity team. Ian began his coaching career at Cherry Creek High School as an assistant coach for the Bruins. This opportunity ignited his passion for teaching the game. After only one year with the Bruins, Ian was named the Head coach of Chatfields High School varsity team. He helped lead the Chargers to their first win in two years.

Ian’s playing career started in Colorado after moving from his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. He worked his way up through the ranks to play Junior hockey with various teams in Colorado, Texas and Canada.

After retiring from competitive hockey, Ian attended the University of Colorado, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Business while also taking a strong interest in music.

Ian is employed by Integrity Auto Specialists where he does custom work and repairs on automobile interiors. He currently lives in Littleton, Colorado with his dog Norris.
