Josh begins his second season as the defensive coach with the Valor Junior Varsity team.
In 2005 Josh began his coaching career with the Glenwood Springs Youth Hockey Association while attending Colorado Mountain College. He was the head coach of the Bantam A team for three seasons while also assisting the midget Major A program. In 2008, he graduated from CMC with an Associates Degree in Biology. Josh then enrolled at Mesa State College in Grand Junction where he played hockey for MSU’s club program and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Physiology. After multiple concussions ended his playing career, he pursued racing for the school's cycling team while also coaching various youth hockey camps at the local rink.
Josh has worked with the Arapahoe Youth Hockey U16AA team. He continues to coach the Chaparral varsity team in the High Plains Hockey League every spring. His teams have won 3 state HPHL championships over the past 6 seasons.
Josh has been working in Sales for a Service Company in the Oil and Gas sector for over 10 years.
