Highlands Ranch, CO -- Valor Christian High School is excited to announce the appointment of Jeff Platt as the new Head Coach for the Valor Boys Basketball program.
It is with great pleasure that Valor Athletics announces Jeff Platt as the head coach of the Valor Boys Basketball program. Coach Platt brings with him an impressive resume that includes 14 years of coaching experience at various levels including NCAA Division I, NAIA, preparatory, and high school. Most recently, Coach Platt coached at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Prior to coaching, Coach Platt played four years at the college level, including three seasons at Tulsa, where he advanced to the NCAA tournament in all three of those seasons. He is a dynamic leader with strong Christian faith and is dedicated to developing gentlemen of distinguished faith-filled character. Coach Platt plans to continue his legacy of producing basketball players that possess the skills and abilities to move into successful collegiate basketball careers and live Godly lives beyond the court.
Brian Bonn, Valor Christian’s Athletic Director, said this about Coach Platt, “We are so excited to have Coach Platt join our staff here at Valor Christian High School. Jeff comes with years of experience and a desire to see the young men in his program grow in their relationship with the Lord. Coach Platt takes over for Coach Dennis Burrage, who spent the past two seasons as the head coach for the Valor Boys Basketball program, leading the team to the elite eight this past season.
