Coach Garrard brings exceptional collegiate experience to the Valor distance running programs. In between two head coaching stints at William Jewell College, Coach Garrard coached distance and cross country at Florida State University and the University of Pennsylvania. Coach Garrard has coached multiple NCAA national qualifiers and has led multiple runners to achieve school records. During his tenure as a coach, he has demonstrated the ability to lead distance and cross country programs with excellence in every aspect.
Coach Garrard also brings a passion for the Lord and disciples young people to love Jesus Christ. His personal enthusiasm for distance running and the integration of faith in his life will allow our runners to have a rich experience under Coach Garrard’s leadership.
