The Valor Christian Girls Swim and Dive team delivered an exceptional performance at the REX Coaches Invite at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton, Colorado, finishing 4th overall against more than 50 teams from across the Front Range and Denver area. The team's final score was just one point shy of 3rd place behind Arapahoe High School after placing 8th at the meet last year. The Eagles rose to the challenge with strong swims in both prelims and finals, advancing competitors into nearly every finals event. A highlight of the meet came from Kayla Hunt, Ellie Wiesen, Hanna Prutsman, and Ann Marie McCaulay, who set a new team record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:44.47, while Ellie Wiesen added another record-breaking performance by clocking a 54.09 in the 100 butterfly.
